Disasterous Walk...

Took the dogs out at 3pm, it had stopped raining and the sun was out...I go across the fields and sit down for a while. Got up to walk back and the heavens opened It was hail stones and with the wind, got soaked, so sheltered under a tree till it went off, then put my left leg down a fox hole right up to my knee, got my foot out but my welly was stuck finally got my welly out, got home soaked to the skin, one leg covered in mud as I unlocked the door the sun came out No I didn't enjoy my walk today...

That fox hole was very deep!!I have long legs and got stuck to just above my knee....Must admit I must have looked funny, pouring with rain with one leg stuck in a hole...Think you would be safer where you are Mags...
